Trainee Coding & Programmer Placement Programme
Please note this is a training programme with career placement and fees apply.
This programme is designed for individuals with none or limited programming experience who want to start a career in coding or web development. It includes industry-recognised certifications, career-focused CV and LinkedIn optimization, and a portfolio to demonstrate skills to potential employers. The programme is flexible and can be completed in a few weeks to a few months depending on the learner’s pace. Training times may be reduced if more time is available each week.
The programme targets entry-level roles in programming and web administration and has a track record of helping graduates find roles with UK companies and organisations that hire entry-level qualified programming staff ready to hit the ground running.
Stage 1 – Learn HTML and CSS (up to 12 weeks)
The first step is completing a selection of professional and industry-recognised courses, carefully chosen to maximise learning and employment outcomes.
* HTML Essentials (up to 6 weeks)
* CSS Essentials (up to 6 weeks)
Training is delivered through multimedia video tutorials, presentations and quizzes via an online portal. You will also be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor for 1-2-1 or group sessions.
Stage 2 – Additional Online Training (up to 12 weeks)
A selection of more advanced courses to prepare you for entry-level programming roles and help you gain a competitive edge.
* Learn the Command Line (1.5 weeks)
* Learn Git & GitHub (1.5 weeks)
* Learn JavaScript (1.5 weeks)
* Learn Python 3 (1.5 weeks)
JavaScript forms the foundation of web development introduction, and Python is a versatile language widely used across industries.
Stage 3 – Portfolio Website Project (1 week)
Your tutor will guide you through exercises to build a personalised portfolio. A strong portfolio is essential to demonstrate your skills to potential employers. Completion of additional study courses is voluntary but recommended.

Stage 4 – Entry Level Web Administrator Placement
We will help you secure your first role in coding, programming, or web development. Entry-level salaries typically range from £25k to £40k, depending on prior knowledge or experience.
