Ward Manager, additional leadership and managerial support, Clee, Clent and Wrekin .
The post holder will support and assist operational delivery in collaboration with the three ward managers of Clee (female admission ward), Clent( male admission ward) and Wrekin (male admission ward & place of safety).
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide Ward Management cover in the absence/leave of a ward manager from one of the above wards.
Key areas of support-
1. Assist with recruitment
2. Co work complicated HR issues-including performance
3. Assisting with CQC/recovery plans
4. Assisting with Assurance Reports and safeguarding matters
5. Assisting with incident sign off/management
6. Assisting with staff development/inductions
7. Assist and provide mentorship, support and coaching for leads from a ward management perspective
Working for our organisation
Work in conjunction with the Service Manager, Matron, Head of Nursing, General Manager, Clinical Director and Professional Leads to develop and deliver safe and effective services, in accordance with key national targets, clinical standards, service priorities and performance indicators set by local commissioners and Trust policies.
Work in partnership with other professionals to provide multi-agency services that achieve the best possible outcomes for people admitted to the centre.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will support and oversee operational delivery of the team; they will be required to work autonomously in order to address issues impacting on clinical care, quality, service delivery, with overall support and strategic direction from the Service Manager.
The post holder will promote a culture of Recovery and least restrictive practice for patients admitted to the unit through role modelling and team development.
