Hays is excited to be partnering with a local council to build a brand-new Customer Master Data team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something new from day one—helping shape processes, improve data quality, and directly support service delivery across the council and trust. Your work will help streamline operations, improve decision‑making, and contribute to high‑quality customer experience across the organisation. Key ResponsibilitiesAs part of the Customer Master Data Service, you will:
1. Deliver accurate, high‑quality customer data services for the council and trust.
2. Process new and updated customer records to agreed standards and deadlines.
3. Verify customer information to meet corporate, financial, and legislative requirements.
4. Identify and escalate any potential fraud concerns.
5. Ensure full GDPRpliance and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
6. Support the production of management information andpliance reports using Oracle.
7. Utilise tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL to support reporting and data integrity tasks.
Who We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking candidates who have:
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Experience in data processing
10. Confidence working with business systems (Oracle experience desirable).
11. Excellentmunication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
12. Ability to work proactively in a fast‑paced, transactional environment.
13. Awareness of GDPR, dataernance, and financial processes.
14. Skills in Power BI, Excel, and dashboards (SQL experience a plus).
