JOB – CNC Machinist
LOCATION – Petersfield, Hampshire
TERM- Permanent
SALARY - £25,000-£30,000, dependent on experience
My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for an CNC Machinist to join their team in Petersfield on a permanent basis.
The CNC Machinist will ideally have the following attributes:
* Previous experience working as a CNC Operator / Machinist / Setter
* Ideally have some experience with or knowledge of programming
* Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing
* Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components
* Be able to read from engineering drawings
* Have previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environment
* Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team
The CNC Machinist role will involve:
* Working with CNC machinery and producing plastics
* Running multiple machines – small to medium batch work
* Inspecting components as required
* CNC Milling or Turning working with varied controls
* Reading from engineering drawings
* Adhering to company H&S requirements
