(Part-Time) 12 hours per week (Mon–Thu, 9am–12pm)

We are seeking a Health and Wellbeing Administrator to support an exciting three-year programme, commissioned by NHS BNSSG, helping people living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
Working closely with our Project Lead and local community partners, you'll secure welcoming venues, coordinate partners, enrol participants, and help run friendly information sessions and peer support groups that empower people to manage their condition.
In partnership with local community organisations, the programme will deliver information sessions and coordinate friendly, welcoming peer support groups. These groups provide a warm environment where individuals can come together to gain knowledge, share experiences, access information, and receive signposting to services. The aim is to empower participants to better manage their condition and improve their quality of life.
The Health and Wellbeing Administrator will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of these sessions and groups by working closely with the Project Lead.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Health and Wellbeing Administrator you will be reporting to the Project Lead your primary focus will be on:
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist the Project Lead in identifying and securing accessible, suitable venues across North and West Bristol for information sessions and peer support groups.
* Coordinate partner participation and engagement, including liaising with community organisations, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure their involvement.
* Manage enrolment of individuals into sessions and groups (e.g., handling expressions of interest, registrations, waiting lists, and communications).
* Attend sessions and peer support groups to provide on-site administrative support and ensure smooth running (e.g., greeting participants, setting up rooms, managing materials, dealing with queries, and supporting facilitators).
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, feedback, venues, partners, and participant details (in line with data protection/GDPR requirements).
* Support promotion and outreach activities to encourage participation from people living with COPD in the area.
* Contribute to monitoring and reporting on programme progress, including gathering participant feedback.
* Undertake any other reasonable administrative duties to support the programme's success.
This role involves home-based working with regular local travel; a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
Essential Skills:
* Full, valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for travel across North and West Bristol.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and logistics effectively.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community partners, healthcare professionals, and people living with long-term conditions.
* Good local knowledge of North and West Bristol (areas, venues, transport links, and community resources).
* A basic understanding of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and its impact on individuals' lives (or willingness to quickly develop this knowledge through training).
* Genuine passion for improving people's lives, particularly those affected by long-term health conditions, and commitment to promoting empowerment and wellbeing.
* Confident in using standard IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, databases/spreadsheets) for record-keeping and communication.
* Ability to work independently from home while maintaining high standards and collaborating closely with the Project Lead.
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to attending events (some sessions may occasionally require slight adjustments within the core hours).
Desired Skills:
* Previous experience in health, wellbeing, community, or voluntary sector administration/coordination.
* Experience supporting or attending peer support groups or health information events.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, data protection, and equality/diversity principles in a health/community context.
* Familiarity with working with NHS partners or commissioned programmes.
