Purpose Of Role: Recruiting for an EC&I Technician reporting directly to the Site Maintenance Engineer. The EC&I Technician ensures that all Electrical, Control and Instrumentation maintenance routines, defect repairs and projects at the plant are carried out in a safe and efficient manner to support the 24/7 operation of the plant in accordance with corporate policies, procedures and legislative requirements. Although this role is for an EC&I Technician, we will consider applications from candidates who specialise in either Electrical or C&I and will provide training to fill any gaps. You'll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence. What a great candidate looks like: Time served apprenticeship or NVQ 3 in Electrical, Instrument or Control, discipline. Knowledge of instrument and control theory. Basic knowledge of The Electricity at Work Regulations. Understanding of Permit to work systems, risk assessment and method statement documentation. Good understanding of EC&I problem solving techniques and ability to read single line diagrams, schematics and P&IDs.
