Our client, a leader in the mechanical engineering and manufacturing space, is seeking a driven and experienced Inside Sales Associate to join their team and contribute to our continued growth. This position demands meticulous attention to detail in generating accurate sales quotes and converting them into ERP orders, as well as the ability to leverage digital tools to reconnect with and re-engage lapsed customers. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our brand and expanding their market reach.
Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for processing orders, proactively generating outbound opportunities and managing inbound leads. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to effectively communicate technical product information. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of inside sales success, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
* Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations in responding to customer requests for quotes (RFP’s). Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure customer needs are met.
* Respond to and qualify inbound leads.
* Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, networking.
* ‘Power-user’ of HubSpot CRM platform
* Use company Sales Process to prepare and present sales proposals and quotations.
* Proactively reengage with past buyers and develop and pursue new sales opportunities
* Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers.
* Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Operational Requirements:
* Leverage HubSpot to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate digital analytics reports.
* Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
* Develop a deep understanding of cartridge heater products and applications.
* Develop abilities to become complex solution provider regarding process heat.
Requirements:
* Demonstrable ability to use HubSpot or a similar CRM
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience selling industrial heating products or similar technical products.
Nice to Haves:
* Minimum of 5 years of proven inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and terminology.
* Technical degree or education.
* Knowledge of electrical components and systems.
* Ability to learn and understand technical specifications.
