The Role – Learning Support Assistant (LSA) As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with pupils aged 11–16, helping them learn, communicate and feel confident. Your day as an LSA will involve: Offering 1:1 LSA support and small-group assistance to help pupils stay focused and engaged. Supporting children with a wide range of needs including ASD, sensory needs, PMLD, communication differences, physical difficulties and SEMH. Creating a calm, supportive learning environment that helps each pupil progress at their own pace. Assisting with personal care, feeding and mobility when required (training can be arranged).
