Main Responsibilities
* Process customer orders, allocate stock, and dispatch sales to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
* Act as the first point of contact for the department by answering incoming calls and emails.
* Liaise with customers and sales representatives to confirm stock availability.
* Manage customer expectations regarding stock and delivery timelines.
* Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
* Review pending orders and handle specific customer requests to maintain excellent service levels.
* Take and process orders via phone, email, and face-to-face at the trade counter.
* Promote additional products and services through upselling.
* Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, photocopying, and managing trade counter cash sheets/banking.
* Identify recurring customer issues and escalate them appropriately.
* Uphold company values, goals, policies, and procedures in all aspects of work.
