Job Title: Industrial Disease Litigator Salary: £30,000 to £55,000 (depending on qualification status / experience) Location: Macclesfield Contract: Full Time, Permanent Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities: Managing a varied caseload of industrial disease claims, including (but not limited to) noise-induced hearing loss, hand-arm vibration syndrome, asbestos-related disease, and respiratory claims. Conducting matters from instruction through to settlement or trial, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and instructions to counsel or experts. Undertaking detailed liability and quantum investigations, gathering evidence to support the claim. Engaging in negotiations and alternative dispute resolution to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. Managing interactions with medical experts, counsel, insurers, and defendants' representatives. Ensuring compliance with the firm's case management procedures, SRA regulations, and all relevant protocols. Maintaining high standards of client communication, providing clear and empathetic advice throughout the litigation process.
