Cardiac Physiologist Assistant Band 2 Applications are invited for a highly motivated individual to join the Cardiology team as a Cardiac Physiologist Assistant at a New Community Diagnostic Centre in New Addington which is part of Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. This will be a busy but satisfying role and the successful candidate will need previous experience of working in a busy department/ ward. Interview Date 16th June 2026 The main role of the successful candidate will be to assist the Cardiac Physiologists in their daily clinical work as well as performing some clerical and office duties. You will also be taught how to perform ECG’s and help with stock control for the department. The main Cardiology Department is based in the Croydon Heart Centre along with a Cardiac Catheter Suite and Daycare Unit. It provides a comprehensive range of non-invasive procedures that include: ECG’s, Ambulatory monitoring (ECG, Event and BP), Technician Led Exercise Tests, Adult Transoesophageal Echocardiography, Adult and Paediatric Transthoracic Echocardiography (including contrast, bubble studies and stress echo), There are also specialist Heart Failure, Valve and Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinics. This post is based at New Addington Community Diagnostic Centre but there will be some rotation at Croydon Hospital and Purley Community Diagnostic Centre.
