Overview
Senior Design Engineer – Bristol – GBP55,000 + Hybrid + Bonus + EAP + DIS
Salary: GBP55,000 starting salary; bonus scheme; EAP; enhanced pension.
Responsibilities
* Manage a range of design projects from concept to completion, using SolidWorks.
* Produce parts lists, assembly drawings and detail drawings.
* Be aware of cost targets in design, purchasing, and assembly.
* Carry out risk assessments on machinery and assemblies of machinery.
Qualifications
* Degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
* Minimum 5 years experience within Mechanical design.
* Strong user of SolidWorks – with sheet metal design experience being an advantage
* Read and produce 2d production drawings.
* Perform engineering calculations and analysis.
