Are you a numbers enthusiast with a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for a proactive and organised Sales Ledger Clerk to join our dynamic team based in Worcester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong finance administration skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in managing the company’s cash flow and customer accounts.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Raising and issuing accurate sales invoices in a timely manner
* Posting and allocating incoming payments
* Managing customer accounts and reconciling balances
* Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email
* Dealing with invoice queries and resolving discrepancies
* Producing aged debtor reports and assisting with month-end reporting
* Supporting the wider finance team as required
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a sales ledger or accounts receivable role
* Strong administrative and numerical skills
* Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero)
* Confident using Microsoft Excel
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable but Not Essential:
* AAT qualification or studying towards
* Experience in a fast-paced SME environment
