Your Contribution
As a Senior Technical Buyer reporting into the head of purchasing you will be responsible for procuring all parts & services using the company procedures, whilst at the same time working to the latest legal requirements and continually looking for the best contractual terms.
* Obtain quotations and analyse the information received to select the correct supplier
* Support and attend project meetings and provide material as necessary
* To establish that the suppliers have the required technical know-how, capacity, capability and financial stability and be responsible for supplier selection and nomination
Your Experience & Qualifications
* Excellent negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of Windchill or similar PDM/PLM system is desirable.
* Ability to demonstrate a proven track record in purchasing
* General understanding of our Markets, Products & Commodities
