We are looking for a skilled CAD Technician to process 3D scan data into accurate building models, supporting the design and production of customised components for a leading and growing manufacturer in the Keighley area. This role is ideal for someone with experience in CAD software, 3D modelling, or data processing, who enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively in a fast-paced, technical environment. Key Responsibilities Process raw 3D scan data into building model parts using SolidWorks in line with specifications. Analyse and manipulate collected data, creating accurate models and detailed reports. Perform quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Identify problems or deficiencies in survey data and advise on corrections. Provide technical support and best practice guidance to surveyors and client-facing teams. Liaise with directors and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, team briefings, and daily operational activities. Comply with company Health, Safety & Environmental policies, reporting any unsafe acts or incidents. Key Requirements Proficient in SolidWorks (desirable). Experience working in a professional office environment (essential). Knowledge of 3D surface scanning, meshing, and point clouds (desirable). Degree qualification (desirable). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Awareness of data processing practices and CAD modelling standards. Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work on own initiative and adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Team-oriented, flexible, and self-motivated with a professional approach.
