The Best Connection are working with our Stockton on Tees based client to source additional C+E (Class 1) DAY SHIFT Trunk Drivers for their expanding operation.
There are on going as well as ad hoc shifts available.
The role:
* Starting at the Stockton hub you will be driving across the country to deliver containers using skeleton trailers
* Start times are approximately 06:00
* There is a minimum of "Hand-balling" involved
* The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
* All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
* Achieving delivery slots
* Using website-based delivery scheduling
* Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork
The candidate:
* C+E (Class One) Licence
* In date CPC and DIGI Card
* Experience using extendable "skelly" trailers
* Experience using "Mirror Cam" Trucks
Rewards:
* £14.42 per hour (PAYE) first hours Monday to Friday
* £21.63 per hour after 8 hours / all Saturday
* £28.84 per hour Sunday / Bank Holiday
