Overview

Greswold Greyhounds is Greswold Primary School's wraparound provision. We wish to employ a vibrant and hard working Early Years Practitioner to work with our youngest children in the school's wraparound provision.

The person we are looking for must be willing to get involved, work hard and become part of our small team as well as working on their own initiative. The qualities we require include honesty, reliability and enthusiasm.


Responsibilities

* Work on a daily basis with children, planning, setting up and providing opportunities for learning and play.
* Participate in providing personal care to our children as required by the age of the children.
* Be confident and friendly when communicating with children, colleagues and parents.
* Work as part of a team and on own initiative to support the wraparound provision.


Qualifications and Experience

* Qualified to Level 3 in Childcare or above.
* Experience with this age group is desirable.


Terms and Conditions

* Contract is fixed term until 20 July 2026.
* Band B salary – £24,796 – £25,583 pro rata. Actual salary (based on Nov–July) circa £7,800.
* Role is 32.5 hours per week, 8.30 am – 3.30 pm with an unpaid 30 minute lunch break, term time only. Extra hours in before & after-school club and holiday club may be available.
