Overview
Avantor is seeking a Stock Management Operative to join our team based in Elstree, UK. You will support the day-to-day operations of our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) service, ensuring accurate and efficient stock management across a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities
* Receive goods and perform quality checks in line with site procedures
* Manage stock using internal inventory systems and process orders for internal delivery
* Replenish consumables and chemicals to lab stores and in-lab points of use
* Distribute parcels across the site using a company vehicle
* Respond to customer requests efficiently and professionally
* Support health & safety compliance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure all training and documentation are completed and up to date
Qualifications
* Experience in stores, warehouses, or inventory management
* A valid UK driving licence (essential); forklift experience is desirable
* Familiarity with GMP environments and SHE requirements
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and inventory management systems
* Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
* Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and stock movement
