Situated at the same site for over 40 years, the practice combines decades of trusted community care with a progressive, modern approach to veterinary medicine. With six consulting rooms, two theatres, a dental suite, separate dog and cat wards, isolation facilities, and a busy in-house lab, this is a fantastic environment for vets who want to work cases up thoroughly and deliver outstanding clinical care. The practice continues to invest in its facilities, boasting ultrasound expertise for both cardiac and abdominal cases, as well as an endoscope, laser machine, and diathermy. Peripatetic orthopaedic surgeons support the team, allowing the majority of complex cases to remain in-house providing both learning opportunities and continuity for patients. This forward thinking practice encourages collaboration and innovation, empowering every team member to have their voice heard in clinical discussions and ward rounds. What truly sets this practice apart, however, is its people-first culture. The practice prioritises patients, clients, and colleagues above all else, believing that success follows naturally when you care for those who matter most. Whether you’re a recent graduate looking to learn in a nurturing environment or an experienced vet ready to take on new challenges, you’ll find the support, mentorship, and friendship to thrive here. A special interest or certificate would be welcomed and supported, and all vets are encouraged to pursue areas that inspire them. The role includes a balance of consulting, surgery, and hospital work, with the backup of a highly skilled nursing and support team.
