Reporting to the Service Manager, you will lead a team of electricians, apprentices, and service personnel across both service operations (maintenance, breakdown response, fault rectification) and project delivery (installation, commissioning). This is a hands‑on leadership role — you will be the senior technical resource in the field while driving safety culture, client relationships, and team capability. Based at our Edinburg modern facility in SA, you will work across a diverse portfolio of clients and sectors.
Duties
* Lead daily planning and execution of maintenance, commissioning, and fault rectification activities
* Provide advanced technical support across LV/HV systems, switchboards, generators, and UPS
* Drive WHS compliance — pre‑starts, toolbox talks, SWMS/JSEA, and permit‑to‑work
* Serve as primary client contact, ensuring commitments are delivered safely and on time
* Maintain accurate service, QA, and commissioning records using CMMS (SAP/Pronto/MEX)
Skills & Experience
* Unrestricted A‑Class Electrical Worker License (essential)
* White Card, current CPR & LVR (essential)
* Proven supervisory experience leading electrical trade teams
* Practical knowledge of LV/HV systems, switchboards, and electrical distribution infrastructure
* Experience with CMMS platforms (SAP, Pronto, or MEX) for work orders and reporting
* Desirable: HV Switching competency, EEHA, or advanced qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation
