Overview
We are recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants / Mental Health Support Workers to support an adult living in a supported living setting in Shrewsbury / Telford.
This role involves supporting an individual with complex mental health needs, helping them live safely and independently within their home environment.

Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker, you will:
* Provide person-centred care and emotional support
* Support individuals with mental health needs and behaviours that challenge
* Assist with daily living tasks and routines
* Encourage independence and wellbeing
* Promote community engagement and positive activities
* Monitor wellbeing and report concerns to senior staff
* Maintain clear and accurate care documentation
Qualifications
* Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
* Experience in supported living, complex care, or residential care
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Compassionate, patient and reliable approach
Desirable
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
* Experience supporting complex mental health or brain injury
* Training in PMVA / MAPA / CPI / de-escalation
