Our Care Home service, known as Community Houses, has rapidly expanded with 4 sites across Keighley that offer a step‑down service to adults with complex mental health needs. Each service is a large residential house with an office and is where you will help our Service Users carry out routine daily tasks—everything from cooking, cleaning and community activities to encouraging independent living. You will also join us on day‑trip visits to the seaside with service users.

Duties
* Assist Service Users with their day‑to‑day activities (cooking, cleaning, washing, some personal care)
* Contribute to individual recovery journeys
* Promote independence and empowerment
* Write and update care plans
* Record Service User electronic notes
* Promote activities and support Service Users with in‑house and community‑based rehabilitation
* Issue medication
* Perform general duties such as admin, cleaning, stock ordering and contacting external healthcare services
Responsibilities
* Support people with mental health conditions in a step‑down service between Three Valleys Hospital and Independent Living.
* Work across all four houses and encourage Service Users to live more independently.
* Collaborate with Team Leaders and management for support and feedback.
* Cover a rolling two‑week shift pattern that includes days, nights and weekends, with overtime and occasional flexibility.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Senior Support Worker
* Leadership skills and experience
* Strong empathy and a caring, compassionate nature
* Willingness to support residents with personal hygiene
* Excellent people and communication skills, and a good sense of humour
* Ability to deal with challenging behaviours
* Positive and professional approach
* Reliability, flexibility, hard‑working and honesty
* Local or within commutable distance of Keighley

Location
Main St, Sutton‑in‑Craven, Keighley BD20 7JS – with 21 beds across four community houses in the semi‑rural areas of Steeton, Sutton‑In‑Craven and Cowling. A driving licence is not essential, but you should be able to commute on public transport if living outside the area. Day shifts start at 7:35 am.
