My client, a top motorsport team located in the north of England, requires a Motorsport Design Engineer to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced environment of international motorsport.
Working from my client’s site, the motorsport design engineer will be involved with some of my client’s primary whole-car design projects.
Responsibilities:
* Delivering innovative engineering solutions from initial concepts through to production.
* Fault diagnosis and resolution.
* Verification of designs through own analysis and CAE.
Requirements:
* Be educated in an Engineering degree.
* Have at least 3 years’ experience as a design engineer in a motorsport environment.
* Have good knowledge of 3D CAD, preferably CATIA.
* Knowledge of the latest manufacturing techniques and materials is essential.
* Have meticulous attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.
* Have excellent interpersonal, relationship and team building skills
