The Chester Grosvenor is a 5-star, award-winning hotel and home to Michelin-starred and AA Rosette restaurants. We are currently seeking a hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to support our talented kitchen brigade.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchens. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a luxury hospitality environment and be part of a passionate, fast-paced team.
Key Responsibilities
* Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to high standards
* Ensuring cleanliness of all kitchen and back-of-house areas
* Assisting chefs with basic food preparation tasks, when required
* Receiving and storing deliveries safely and efficiently
* Supporting the kitchen team in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
* Managing waste and recycling procedures
About You
* A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
* A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Previous experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided
