We are seeking a proactive, dynamic Deputy Manager. You will work with extraordinary people who achieve fantastic successes.
Key Duties:
1. Team leadership and management – to lead, direct, and support a team.
2. Completing and regularly reviewing risk assessments and developing individual person-centred support plans.
3. Ensuring all documentation and records completed by support workers are accurate, timely, and in line with company policies and procedures.
4. Undertaking regular supervisions and spot checks of support workers.
5. Completing competency reviews.
6. Investigating complaints and safeguarding issues, ensuring actions are completed.
7. Conducting direct observations as required.
8. Providing person-centred support for all the people we support.
9. Maintaining up-to-date computerised and manual records.
10. Implementing quality control procedures and processes.
11. Participating in the on-call rota.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Clear enhanced DBS Record.
2. Experience of Social Services and Local Authorities.
3. Health & social care degree and/or management qualification within the healthcare sector or an equivalent.
4. Sound knowledge and understanding of CQC and current legislations.
5. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
6. Full UK Driving Licence (desirable).
7. Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
