The Role
As a Senior Cross Sectional Radiographer with leadership responsibilities, you will:
Deliver a high-quality CT and/or MRI imaging service, ensuring patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes.
Take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of the imaging department.
Act as deputy to the Imaging Manager, stepping in to lead the team in their absence.
Supervise, mentor, and develop radiographers, helpers, and students to maintain exceptional standards.
Lead by example, embedding Spire's values and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Oversee equipment checks, compliance with safety regulations, and support audit and quality assurance processes.
Support service planning and innovation, helping the department to meet patient and business needs.What We're Looking For
Diploma or Degree in Radiography with HCPC registration.
Proven experience as a Radiographer in an imaging department with CT and/or MRI expertise.
Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development.
Demonstratable strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to deputise for senior management.Desirable:
Previous experience in a team lead/ managerial role
Experience in private healthcare.
Involvement in audits, clinical governance, or service development.
MRI Cardiac Scanning experience.What's on Offer
