RVtech, located in Workington, England, UK, is seeking a Business Development Associate to join their Sales & Marketing team in Cumbria.
About the Role
This role involves managing existing accounts and developing new business relationships within Cumbria, focusing on account management, internal sales, and new sales initiatives. The position offers flexible and hybrid working arrangements, including options for reduced hours.
Established in 2000, Gen2 specializes in Engineering, Nuclear, and Manufacturing sectors and is part of City & Guilds since 2017. The company is based in a modern facility near the Lake District and has recently received an Ofsted Good rating.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve engagement and sales targets annually
* Maintain and grow revenue with existing accounts
* Expand the customer base and promote new products and services
* Support the development and implementation of business strategies in key sectors
Candidate Requirements
* Proven success in target-driven sales and business development environments
* Strong relationship management and networking skills
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Organizational and problem-solving abilities
* Valid UK driving license and access to a car (expenses covered by Gen2)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in education/training sales and knowledge of government funding
* Understanding of sectors like Engineering, Nuclear, and Teaching
