Reporting to our Head of Warehouse Operations, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for receiving and dispatching company and client goods, ensuring operational activities support exceptional client service. The role involves completing all warehouse activities, managing expectations, and achieving operational objectives. Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing key information to clients and account teams pre- and post-project launch within agreed timescales.
2. Collaborating with clients and account teams to identify business opportunities.
3. Maintaining good knowledge of Insite (Momentum's proprietary system) and other database systems.
4. Managing stock control requirements, manpower, and storage space.
5. Reporting stock shortages or damages promptly.
6. Conducting accurate stock checks as required.
7. Ensuring the safe storage of stock.
8. Responding efficiently to requests from account teams and the Head of Warehouse Operations.
9. Addressing operational issues professionally, providing practical solutions, and keeping relevant teams informed.
10. Submitting daily/weekly updates and reports within set timescales.
11. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and liaising with the Head of Warehouse Operations.
12. Ensuring work meets high standards and aligns with account KPIs.
13. Participating in training and briefing sessions as needed.
14. Managing the Warehouse Supervisor.
15. Ensuring temporary personnel understand their responsibilities and perform delegated tasks effectively.
16. Addressing HR and H&S issues with the Head of Warehouse Operations.
The ideal candidate will be organized, methodical, passionate about quality work, and detail-oriented. They should have strong IT skills (Microsoft Office), demonstrate relevant experience in a warehouse role, and be an expert in warehouse functions, stock management, goods in/out processes. Flexibility, team orientation, and people management skills are essential.
