Earthworks Estimator Overview We are seeking an experienced Earthworks Estimator to join a growing and diversified construction business operating nationally across earthworks, civils, and demolition projects. This is a key commercial role, supporting the successful delivery of complex and technically challenging schemes. The Role As an Estimator, you will be responsible for producing detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates across a range of earthworks, civil engineering, and demolition projects. You will play a vital role in tender preparation, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure bids are commercially sound and deliverable. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates from drawings, specifications, and tender documents Analyse project requirements, risks, and opportunities Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing Identify value engineering options and cost-saving solutions Support the preparation and submission of tenders and bids Work collaboratively with project and operational teams to ensure realistic pricing Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the tender process About You Proven experience as an Estimator within earthworks, civils, or demolition Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Commercially astute with strong attention to detail Confident communicator, able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tenders simultaneously Package & Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package (open to discussion) Budget for continuing professional development Supportive approach to flexible working, with the requirement for regular office presence Opportunity to work on technically challenging and high-profile projects within a growing business Equality & Compliance We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and fostering an inclusive working environment.
