The Role
We're looking for a Cloud Operations Team Leader to manage and optimise our cloud infrastructure and lead a skilled engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role balancing strategic planning with technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of Cloud Engineers
* Oversee day-to-day cloud operations: monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
* Implement and improve Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions.
* Support development teams through CI/CD pipelines.
* Explore AI-driven approaches to infrastructure automation.
* Drive cloud security, governance, compliance, and cost optimisation (FinOps).
* Plan and deliver projects using Agile methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS.
* Hands on leadership experience, ideally within SaaS environments (this is a huge bonus!)
* Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
* Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance.
* Knowledge of cloud cost management and performance monitoring.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
