Job Description:
HW Global is the executive search partner of choice for many of the world’s most recognised consumer brands, including some of the largest sector leaders in FMCG/CPG, QSR, Consumer Healthcare, Infrastructure and Retail.
We support these companies across the globe in engaging and hiring exceptional leadership talent, recruiting both executive and non-executive board members and senior leaders, across the full range of functions.
Our deep understanding of global consumer markets enables us to identify leaders who can inspire multi-cultural, multi-generational teams in a sustainable and business beneficial way, whilst embracing the increasingly influential role of digital and emerging AI technology platforms.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a collaborative, ambitious, and fast-paced team, contributing to international search mandates and working directly with senior stakeholders.
The Role
* Take a lead role in research and candidate engagement across executive-level assignments, supporting Partners and Consultants throughout the search lifecycle.
* Be responsible for identifying and mapping target markets and companies globally.
* Manage candidate engagement, conducting qualification calls and managing candidate relationships throughout the search process.
* Work directly with clients in partnership with Consultants, including contributing to search strategy, candidate reporting, and status updates.
* Confidently position and pitch opportunities to senior level candidates.
* Use your knowledge of job functions, business structures, and market dynamics to identify and assess potential candidates.
* Support with the creation of market insight and intelligence reports for internal and client use.
* Ensure accurate and consistent use of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other internal tools to track activity, progress, and data.
* Handle project coordination including interview scheduling, reporting, and documentation management.
* Play a key role in managing candidate experience throughout the search process.
Experience:
* Previous experience in executive search or senior-level recruitment, ideally with international exposure.
* Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to confidently engage with senior-level candidates and clients.
* A commercial mindset, with a natural curiosity for how businesses are structured and how leadership talent is shaped globally.
* Experience using recruitment systems (ATS/CRM) to manage data, track activity, and run reports.
* A strong grasp of research and candidate sourcing methodologies, including direct headhunting and desk-based mapping.
* Highly organised with strong administrative skills – able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across different projects.
* A collaborative approach – someone who thrives in a team setting but can also work independently with accountability.
Future progression:
This role offers a clear pathway into a Consultant position. Many of our most successful Partners and Directors began their careers in research and progressed through delivery roles into client leadership.
