The Role:
· Own and manage one or more complex programmes comprising multiple projects aligned to business
strategy.
· Define programme structure, governance, and delivery frameworks, ensuring alignment with company
objectives.
· Ensure cumulative programme milestones, budgets, quality, and benefits are achieved.
· Provide leadership and direction to Programme Leaders and cross-functional teams.
· Coordinate activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Aftermarket, and
external partners.
· Chair programme governance forums, steering groups, and gate review meetings.
· Produce consolidated programme status reports, KPI dashboards, and risk summaries for Senior
Leadership.
· Manage inter-project dependencies, prioritisation, and resource allocation.
· Own programme-level risk, issue, and change control processes.
· Ensure customer and stakeholder requirements are managed consistently across all projects.
· Support bid, tender, and quotation activities from a programme perspective.
· Drive resolution of complex technical, commercial, and operational challenges.
· Oversee benefits tracking and realisation throughout and beyond programme delivery.
· Conduct programme reviews and ensure lessons learned are embedded into future delivery.
· Support capability development, mentoring, and performance management of Programme Leaders.
· Work with strategic purchasing to align supplier capability with programme needs.
· Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, internal governance, and regulatory requirements.
The Requirements:
· HND in Engineering (or equivalent) or Diploma in Manufacturing / engineering
· Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years working experience as a project manager
· Experience in resource planning.
· Demonstratable experience in budget preparation and control.
· Experience working in a manufacturing environment
· Proficiency in preparing timelines, managing, and reporting on projects utilising MS Project / Excel.
