The Role
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated part‑time, permanent Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in East Renfrewshire.
We are a supportive team of 11 registered and non‑registered practitioners based in Barrhead Health and Care Centre and Eastwood Health and Care Centre. The successful candidate will be part of a community team of SLTs who are well supported by the SLT Leadership Team.
You will work closely with children and their families and with colleagues within Specialist Children’s Services, the Neurodevelopmental Team, Paediatrics, Health Visiting, Education and Social Work to promote understanding of communication differences.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern
* This is a permanent, part‑time post (21.6 hours)
* Hours will be worked Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
* Post is based at Barrhead Health and Care Centre
* Salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours
Qualifications
* Appropriate Ordinary/Honours degree in Speech and Language Pathology or equivalent
* Certificate to Practice as a Speech and Language Therapist awarded by RCSLT
* Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Experience working with a paediatric caseload
* Knowledge within a specialist Speech and Language Therapy clinical area, supported by postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience
