Housekeeper/ Theatre Cleaner
Location: Fulwood Hall Hospital, Preston
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time
Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits
Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday (AM) with some evenings and weekends as needed
Summary
Fulwood Hall Hospital is a large, independent facility in Lancashire. The role involves maintaining cleanliness across the theatre and housekeeping areas, supporting other departments and ensuring infection control standards.
Job Description
* Maintain required standards of cleanliness by following correct policies, procedures and frequencies; carrying out a range of cleaning duties in line with the ward/area/location cleaning schedules (may include operating specialist cleaning equipment).
* Carrying out specialist cleaning and one‑off cleaning duties in line with the supervisor’s requirements; ensuring a general, pleasant and well‑maintained environment for patients and visitors.
* Work as a motivated team player in a challenging but rewarding role, with previous housekeeping experience essential and knowledge of COSHH and infection control desirable (training provided).
