Our business is ambitious and is focused upon helping companies optimise their critical decision making through the use of our innovative big data analytics solutions that run on internal or external cloud architectures. We are currently facing a period of unprecedented opportunity and transformation and this role is expected to play a fundamental part in supporting business growth.

A dynamic and multi-skilled IT role supporting both internal operations and external clients. This position blends technical support, infrastructure management, process improvement, and strategic contribution, with a strong focus on service excellence and ISO27001 compliance.


Core Responsibilities:


Technical Support:

* Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support across internal systems.
* Investigate, escalate, and resolve complex technical issues within SLA/OLA targets.
* Triage and analyse client-reported issues, especially related to the Realiti product.


Infrastructure & Systems:

* Build and maintain Windows, Mac and Linux desktop setups and virtual environments.
* Manage Active Directory via JumpCloud: user accounts, roles, permissions, group policies, and patching.
* Support internal IT infrastructure including DR/BCP, backup/recovery, and network capabilities.
* Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki networking equipment.
* Administer Palo Alto Firewalls and manage VPN configurations.
* Manage AWS IAM roles, policies, and permissions.
* Deploy and maintain AWS EC2 instances for internal and client use.


Asset & Supplier Management:

* Track and manage IT hardware/software assets using an Asset Register.
* Maintain supplier relationships for equipment procurement and software licensing.
* Monitor market rates for hardware and software to ensure cost efficiency.


Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:

* Create and maintain IT Knowledge Base articles and Confluence spaces.
* Champion onboarding for new staff, ensuring smooth technical setup and orientation.
* Run new starters through ISO27001 and security inductions.


Project & Strategy Involvement:

* Contribute to internal service improvement projects and departmental strategy.
* Develop and refine IT policies and processes to support ISO27001 compliance.


Key Skills & Competencies:

* Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication across all levels, including VIPs.
* Self-sufficient and proactive in both office and remote settings.
* Skilled in researching and resolving non-standard support needs.
* Ability to manage Helpdesk operations and ticketing workflows.


Technologies & Tools Managed:

* Atlassian Products: Jira, Confluence (Helpdesk, documentation, project tracking)
* Microsoft 365: Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune
* JumpCloud: Cloud-based Active Directory and MDM
* AWS: IAM, EC2, cost estimation and control
* Cisco Meraki: Network device management and troubleshooting
* Palo Alto: Firewall and VPN administration
* Linux & Windows: Desktop and virtual environments
* Google Workspace: Admin and user support
* Apple macOS/iOS: Device setup and support
