We are seeking a motivated and professional Receptionist to join our large and friendly team at a busy GP practice in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive primary care environment, providing high-quality services to our patients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Acting as the first point of contact for patients, both in person and by telephone.
* Booking and managing appointments using our clinical systems.
* Processing repeat prescription requests and handling general enquiries.
* Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to confidentiality policies.
* Supporting the wider clinical and administrative teams to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
About you:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm, professional and organised in a busy environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
* Basic IT skills (training on practice systems will be provided).
* Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service environment is desirable but not essential.
