About the Role
:
A Multi Skilled Operative based within our Thurrock branch provide day to day repairs support to our residents. The successful candidate will become part of a local team undertaking a high standard Multi Trade repairs and refurbishment activities to housing properties delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards. You are required to have a certified core trade and complimenting this can deliver additional trade activities in support of completing repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures. You will be expected to take ownership in undertaking construction, fault finding and maintenance repairs aiming for a first-time completion whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.
Role Criteria:
1. Experience in Carpentry, plastering, Plumbing, PVC, Tiling, flooring & Painting
2. Damp & Mould Experience
3. Previous experience social housing
4. UK full driving license
5. Desirable experience working on legal disrepair cases
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
