ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor. At present they are expanding their business and have many new projects starting in the East Anglia Area. Your duties will include but not limited too:
1. Prepare draft budgets and site start budgets for each project assigned to the Quantity Surveyor.
2. Generate quarterly valuations and conduct material “cost to complete” assessments for each site under the Quantity Surveyor’s responsibility.
3. Process sub-contract payments and final accounts, ensuring they are signed off by the sub-contractor.
4. Create sub-contract orders, ensuring they are authorized by the designated representative and include all necessary documentation to comply with Group Commercial Policy.
5. Manage cost control and monitor changes effectively.
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree preferred
• Performed a similar role for a residential developer
• Current CSCS card or equivalent is desirable
• A keen interest in construction
• Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and demonstrates ability to meet deadlines
• IT literate and the ability to adapt to new systems

The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £55k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits including car allowance and bonus.
