Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a friendly and ambitious primary school in Broxbourne that is looking to appoint a talented PPA Cover Teacher from 1st September 2026.
This opportunity would suit a teacher who enjoys variety in their week and thrives on working across different classes and age groups. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the school's teaching team, providing high-quality cover during teachers' PPA time while ensuring pupils continue to receive engaging, well-structured lessons and a positive classroom experience.
The school is seeking someone who can quickly establish strong relationships with pupils, adapt to different learning environments, and bring energy and enthusiasm to every classroom they enter. Whether delivering lessons in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity, raising achievement and supporting the wider life of the school.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be teaching across a range of year groups throughout the week, following established planning while using your own creativity and expertise to bring learning to life. Working closely with class teachers and senior leaders, you'll ensure pupils remain motivated, challenged and supported in their learning.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has recent experience teaching in UK primary schools
Is confident teaching across different year groups
Creates positive, purposeful learning environments
Has strong behaviour management skills
Enjoys being part of a collaborative and supportive staff team
Demonstrates a genuine passion for helping children succeed
