Sales Ledger Clerk Arnold A well-established business based in Arnold is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant / Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. This role would suit someone with prior Sales Ledger experience, confident in raising invoices, and comfortable working with Sage 50 Accounts Professional in a fast-paced office environment. This is an urgent replacement hire, so candidates available at short notice or able to benefit from a handover period will be prioritised. Key Responsibilities Raising sales invoices Posting invoices and cash Uploading invoice data to a factoring company and reconciling records Performing bank reconciliations regularly (approx. every other day) Using Sage 50 Accounts Professional Working with a bespoke invoicing system ( training provided ) Key Requirements Previous experience in a Sales Ledger role Proven experience raising invoices Experience with Sage 50 Accounts Professional (preferred) Comfortable working in an office-based environment Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Ability to learn new systems and follow established processes Hours & Location Arnold 100% office-based (5 days per week) Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Salary & Benefits £28,000 per annum (some flexibility for the right candidate) 20 days holiday bank holidays Pension scheme Training and support on internal systems If you have Sales Ledger experience and are looking for a stable, office-based role in Arnold, apply now! or call us on 0115 960 7000 for more info
