The Commercial Insight Analyst will assist the Head of Operational Performance by analysing management information (MI) from various sources to offer a comprehensive view of operational performance for AA Driving School.
This role includes monitoring operational targets to ensure consistent delivery of business outcomes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering strong relationships with key operational leaders. Additionally, the analyst will help oversee risk management and ensure compliance with the Risk Management Framework Policy.
What will I be doing?
* Support the analysis of MI from various sources to fully understand the complete picture of operational performance for AADS.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into actionable strategies.
* Conduct pricing analysis and help maintain robust pricing models to facilitate the delivery of high-quality product margin analyses within driving school products (training and franchise).
* Assist in monitoring agreed operational targets to ensure they consistently deliver required business outcomes.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational approaches and support the execution of plans to enhance customer and colleague experiences.
* Help build and develop close working relationships with key operational leaders, providing high levels of support and challenge.
* Ensure a two-way feedback process between all teams delivering the customer and colleague experience, including regular engagement sessions, call listening, and communication.
* Assist in overseeing AADS' risk management, ensuring compliance with the Risk Management Framework Policy.
What do I need?
* Proven experience in commercial insight analysis ideally in automotive, financial services or insurance
* Understanding of financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
* Highly numerate with commercial business acumen.
* Proficient in data and visualisation analysis tools and software (Excel, SQL, and Power BI).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
* Experience with process improvement methodologies.
* Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards, particularly within a cooperative FCA regulated environment.
* Understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of working in a regulated financial environment.
* Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
