Registered Nurse - FlexiBank
One Ashford Hospital, Kent has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our friendly and dynamic team.
Please note: this is a FlexiBank role working on an 'as and when required' basis; you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff during periods of annual leave or absence.
Reporting to the Outpatients Manager, the successful registered nurse will be required to work across both Outpatients and Pre-Assessment, providing the highest standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team, including:
* Ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during their visit/admission to the hospital.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance in line with hospital policies, national guidelines and best practice standards.
Hours: FlexiBank shifts Mon to Fri. Shifts will be between 07:30 and 20:30.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with NMC
Experience
* Clinical nursing experience in outpatients, theatre or clinic environment
* Proven ability to work independently and within a team
* Proven experience in a pre-assessment clinical setting.
Skills
* Demonstrable knowledge and skills and competency of required clinical practice.
* Cannulation and intravenous antibiotics would be an advantage.
* Undertake MRSA screening, phlebotomy, ECGs and patient vital signs
* Experience in computer skills using MS Office Suite and web based reporting systems
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
* Excellent customer service skills
Desirables
* Enthusiasm for cross functional working within clinical departments as reasonably required.
* Experience in the private sector
* Relevant clinical skills in addition to assist with minor procedures
