About the role
As part of our commitment to innovation and development, we are seeking an innovative E-commerce Manager to maximise revenue from our DTC ecommerce site. You'll manage product listings, marketing campaigns, website performance, and data analytics to deliver outstanding customer experiences and meet ambitious sales targets in a fast-paced digital environment.
Responsibilities will include…
Website Trading & Revenue Optimisation
* Lead the website trading rhythm - identifying, launching and optimising product offers, bundles, content themes and promotional campaigns.
* Run monthly promotional calendar: identify ideas, launch tests, analyse results and scale winners.
* Develop insight-driven hypotheses for site changes that can increase conversion rate, AOV or customer acquisition.
* Collaborate with design, agencies and growth teams to turn ideas into tests and deployments.
* Own the promotions calendar and execution - including ideation, testing, launch and performance tracking of discounts, bundles, offers and codes.
* Maintain visibility on competitor promotions and pricing strategies and use insights to inform DTC tactics that remain commercially viable and brand-consistent.
Site Development & Ownership
* Define and evolve the DTC website's customer value proposition - identifying what drives purchase behaviour and loyalty, and translating this into compelling reasons to buy via site experience, offers, content and unique features.
* Lead the rollout of new product detail pages (PDPs), brand landing templates and key site updates — working with design and development to bring the vision to life, with a clear focus on performance uplift.
* Collaborate with the design team to evolve the visual and UX language of the site over time — balancing brand equity with conversion performance.
Customer Insight & UX
* Own and manage on-site analytics tools (e.g. GA4, heatmaps, surveys) to understand user behaviour.
* Generate qualitative and quantitative insights to improve user experience and drive repeat purchase.
* Collaborate with our CRO agency (and potentially bring in other UX / insight tools) to identify high-impact opportunities.
* Shape messaging and user journey based on value prop understanding - not just design or brand rules.
Creative Testing & Experiments
* Identify and execute "bigger bets" - from bundle builders and quizzes to product finders and gift-with-purchase offers.
* Partner with external experts (e.g. developers, freelancers, UX researchers) to bring new ideas to life quickly and efficiently.
* Bring a builder mindset - test small, iterate, and scale what works.
Cross-Functional Coordination
* Act as the bridge between Growth, Design, SEO, Retention and Development to deliver initiatives with velocity.
* Flag and unblock site or UX issues with IT/dev.
* Work with the Director of Ecommerce to build out a broader ecommerce roadmap.
Requirements
Required:
* Extensive experience in ecommerce or digital trading roles (agency or brand side).
* Strong grasp of on-site UX principles and revenue levers (CRO, AOV, merchandising).
* Commercially driven, comfortable using data to guide priorities.
* Hands-on experience using Shopify and associated apps / integrations.
* Comfortable briefing and managing designers and agencies.
* Strong project management skills – can get stuff done, not just suggest ideas.
Nice to Have:
* Background in high-growth consumer DTC brands or digital marketplaces.
* Experience working with CRO or performance UX tools (e.g. Hotjar, Clarity, ContentSquare).
* Familiarity with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and CMS tools.
* A personal interest in consumer brands, health or wellness.
Benefits
* 24 Days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Bupa dental cover.
* Private medical insurance.
* 50% staff discount on all Vitabiotics products.
* Staff skills training.
* Health and wellbeing programme.
* Pension contributions.
* Sick pay support.
* Free onsite parking.
* Enhanced maternity or paternity leave.
* Company events.
* Fresh fruit and snacks.
* 2 Charity days a year.
* Free EV charging station.
