* Managing a portfolio of customer accounts across the Group end to end
* Driving cash collections & reducing aged debt
* Building strong relationships with key customers to resolve issues quickly
* Handling queries and disputes with a proactive, solutions focussed approach
* Reviewing credit limits and monitoring customer risk
* Producing aged debt reports and supporting Group cash flows
* Working closely with Sales, Technical Services & Finance teams to improve processes
* Develop and implement credit control policies and best practices
* Managing month end process end to end, producing reconciliations, reporting to stakeholders and Sales Ledger close adhering to strict deadlines
* Other ad hoc duties & projects as required
* Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company
* Follow the requirements of the Company’s ISO Procedure
* Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, work instructions & safe systems of work
Post requirements
* Proven experience in Credit Control, ideally at senior level.
* Strong track record of managing your own ledgers independently
* Confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
* Ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable using finance systems and Excel
* Previous experience of dealing with EU VAT invoicing complexities, multicurrency transactions, translations, foreign exchange differences desirable
