As an Electrical & Controls Engineer, you will be at the heart of customer and in-house projects. From design to commissioning, you'll be the mastermind behind our electrical systems and able to make your mark on the technical projects you have ownership over.
You will be able to leverage your experience with variable frequency inverter drives while demonstrating your ability to interpret complex legislation within your technical designs.
You will primarily use EPLAN and Siemens platforms; however, if you have experience with other platforms or packages, you will be brought up to speed.
You will be based at the Oxfordshire office, working closely with clients, project managers, the automation team, and the factory team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Full Product Lifecycle: From design to commissioning, you will be responsible for our electrical systems.
2. Client Collaboration: Establish project briefs, lead designs, and develop solutions for high-quality and cost-effective project delivery.
3. Technical Skills: Implement electrical circuit drawings, assist contractors, and participate in Functional Acceptance Tests.
4. Global Travel: Be prepared to travel internationally for equipment commissioning and technical sales support, approximately 20% of the year.
