Job Title: Technical Solutions Architect
Location: Remote first (cross-site travel to any of Burnley, Sheffield, Pendle, Cardiff or London)
Day Rate: Competitive Rate Outside IR35

Technical Solutions Architect Responsibilities
Define and deliver a cohesive technical architecture and roadmap aligned to business strategy.
Act as Technical Design Authority, leading design governance, review, and approval of IT solutions.
Design secure, resilient, and highly available solutions across cloud, infrastructure, application, and data domains.
Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs.
Advise senior IT and business leaders on emerging technologies, including cloud platforms, AI, and hyperautomation.
Produce architecture models, technical specifications, and solution documentation.
Drive transition from on-premise and data centre environments to cloud-first digital services.
Promote reuse of existing technical assets, frameworks, and methodologies.
Technical Solutions Architect Requirements
Experience as a Technical Solutions Architect or similar senior architecture role.
Strong experience with outsourced IT services and enterprise-scale infrastructures.
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and services (Azure, AWS, IaaS, SaaS, M365).
Proven track record designing secure, scalable, and highly available systems.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and technical governance skills.
