Procurement Administrator
Salary - £28,000 pa Permanent
Location - Wrexham, North Wales
Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm, early finish on Friday
Are you an organised procurement whiz with a knack for construction materials and suppliers? Ready to play a pivotal role in exciting construction projects across North Wales? We're recruiting on behalf of our established client for a Procurement Administrator to join their dynamic Wrexham Head Office team.
THE ROLE
Manage purchase orders, requisitions, and supplier relationships like a pro.
Ensure on-time deliveries that hit project budgets and specs
Source and procure construction materials, plant, equipment, consumables, and services from approved/new suppliers.
Prepare, process, and track purchase requisitions, POs, and supplier docs using purchase order systems.
Evaluate suppliers for materials, plant hire, subs, and site accommodation.
Liaise with suppliers/subcontractors to confirm deliveries, resolve issues, and verify quality/quantity.
Monitor deliveries, update Site Managers, and coordinate with logistics/internal teams.
Maintain accurate procurement logs, tracking sheets, and delivery registers.
Assist with site stock checks, stores management, and invoice queries with finance. What we're looking for:
Proven procurement/purchasing experience, ideally in construction/building industry. However, other industries considered.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Strong knowledge of construction materials, plant, and suppliers.
Excellent admin/organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Desirable: Experience with PO systems; supply chain compliance (H&S, accreditations). Unbeatable Benefits Package:
