Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
* Provide attentive and friendly service to all guests, ensuring a positive experience
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
* Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
* Manage cash register transactions accurately and efficiently
* Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts
* Uphold food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices at all times
* Engage with guests in a professional manner, fostering a welcoming environment
Skills
* Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings, with knowledge of serving techniques
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers
* Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
