Freelance Works Manager Needed - West Ruislip (Tier 2 Subcontractor)
Location: West Ruislip
Contract Length: 18-24 months
Are you an experienced Works Manager with a strong track record in concrete construction and site logistics? Our client, a growing Tier 2 subcontractor, is seeking a freelance professional to join their team on a £20m project working on a major HS2 joint venture at West Ruislip.
We are looking for someone who is happy with working 12 hour days and 6 days a week.
This role is inside of IR35 so please only apply if you are happy to work PAYE via an umbrella company.
Duties:
Lead and manage works on site in collaboration with JV partners
Oversee concrete delivery, placement, and quality assurance
Coordinate logistics, plant, and materials across a busy construction site
Ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance throughout the delivery phaseDuties:
Proven background with concrete contractors
Solid understanding of site logistics and construction work flows
Strong communicator and confident decision-maker
Available for long-term freelance engagement (18 to 24 months)
