GXO is currently seeking two talented and driven individuals for the role of Transport Supervisor, working at our M&S site in Peterborough. You will play a key role in supporting the dedicated transport operation across the M&S / GXO network, ensuring customer satisfaction, procedural conformance and operational excellence in a fast‑paced environment.
This is a full‑time, permanent position, working a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, 18:00 – 06:00.

You'll be paid a salary of up to £40,471 per annum. What you'll do on a typical day:
Manage a core pool of drivers plus agency staff, providing support, guidance and performance management where required
Coordinate customer requirements, ensuring satisfaction, compliance and delivery of all contractual obligations
Build strong communication with the customer and internal teams, resolving issues quickly
Monitor fleet, compliance and all transport equipment, escalating defects and ensuring operational availability
Maintain daily KPI and service performance through proactive planning, communication and issue resolution
Produce timely operational reporting, including KPIs and financial/transport activity updates
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Demonstrable experience within a similar role, experience supervising a team and an operational understanding of a transport environment
Strong understanding of tachograph rules, WTD and transport compliance
Excellent communication, organisation and decision‑making skills
Ability to lead by example, manage conflicting priorities and build strong customer relationships
Confident working with Microsoft Office and transport‑related systems
